Portland Bird Observatory, Obs Quarry, The Slopes, Higher Lighthouse, Top Fields and Crown Estate Fields

It was a change of scenery today and a visit to the southern tip of Portland. Despite the news that there were a few Dartford Warblers about, sadly I didn't find any.

The only highlights were 6 Stonechats and 4 Chiffchaffs.

Two Buzzards in the Crown Estate Fields.

And a Kestrel with a vole it has just caught.

A quick look left and right.....

..........then this Raven drops slowly to the ground.

Ted:

Ted's first encounter with Alpacas. I'm not sure who was the most inquisitive. At least Ted didn't bark at them.
