Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadows, Wakeham Railway Cuttings and Bumpers Lane.

Well what a night that was, with thunder and lightning all around us, and then more of the same this afternoon, with 100's of lightning strikes out in the Channel heading our way.

For a brief 30 minutes between the showers I managed to get a quick walk in around the "block" before the next shower hit us.

3:20pm and the next "batch" of thunder & lightning on its way.

Not too many highlights as you would expect, but i did manage to record 4 Skylark, 1 Blackcap and 6 Chiffchaff.

A Red Admiral was a bit of surprise and the most abundant insects on the wing were Common Wasps.
