With the forecast of rain late morning, I had hoped my mid-morning walk would be just right to avoid it. Unfortunately not and after just 20 minutes the rain began to fall.
At least I managed to get to the meadow, but to be honest there wasn't much about as the weather started to close in.
There were a few highlights with a single Slow-worm close to the meadow, a few Chalk Hill Blues about and several Scarce Orange Legionnaire Flies, which are now on the grass seeds as opposed to the umbellifers they have been on. Oh and not for the first time, I came across a Semaphore Fly which was nowhere near water.
