Wakeham Railway Cutting, Wakeham Meadow and Old Quarry Lane
I had intended to walk around the Lower Horse Paddock and Broadcroft Quarry Lane, but ended up staying at the Railway Cuttings for a good 40 minutes watching 3 Chiffchaffs, followed by 2 Redwings and 5 Siskins.
And then from nowhere a Yellow-browed Warbler started calling from the trees between the cuttings and Perryfields Quarry Butterfly Reserve. It then decided to fly into the Cuttings, where I managed a photo of it before it flew back up the embankment.
As I tweeted my sightings, a very familiar sound came from behind me and heading north were 8 Fieldfares.
Along the Old Quarry Lane were 4 more Chiffchaff and with so much bird activity it wasn't a surprise to see a Sparrowhawk come whistling through.
Here are a few images and sound track videos from today:

Unlike a couple of days ago when I was about to photograph a Yellow-browed Warbler at Church Ope and it was spooked by a Chiffchaff, this one here in the Cuttings gave me a brief record shot, before it disappeared up the embankment.
Not the Yellow-browed Warbler but one of the 7 Chiffchaffs I came across which was singing. Might have to turn the volume up.
And having seconds earlier seen my first two Redwings this Autumn, I then watched 8 Fieldfares heading north. If you've not heard a Fieldfare before they have very distinct flight call. Audio below courtesy of xeno-canto
Just one very brief call from the Yellow-browed Warbler
If I have got this right, these are edible Passion Fruits (Passiflora edulis), which I came across as I was returning home.
Looks like Ted's had enough
