A busy day which started off with a Flu Jab and ended with me fitting a roof for the new Duck House.
So not much birdwatching and it was more of a case of listening to what was passing overhead or through the garden. A few highlights with a Chiffchaff making its way through the garden to the neighbours and 2 Siskins overhead. And as the sun began to dip below the rooftops, a charm of 30+ Goldfinches gathered on the Sycamores down the road, before heading off to roost.
Here are a few images from today:
This Honey Bee was warming itself up on the garden fence. It was the only bee I came across all day.
And the new roof for the Duck House.
Its coming along well, but still quite a bit to do.
