A busy day shopping in Weymouth, but not before I dropped in to Chisel to see the 3 Grey Phalaropes which had turned up this morning. The waves were pretty high and it took me a good 15 minutes before I could locate one in amongst the flotsam. I did try looking for the other 2, but no joy.
Only other highlight was watching 6 House Martin, 2 Swallows and a Chiffchaff heading south over the cottage.
Here are a few images and a video from today:
There was quite a swell and some big waves crashing onto Chesil Beach. Always good for a Grey Phalarope.
Somewhere in amongst the flotsam is a single Grey Phalarope and my first for the year.
The vegetable patch now transformed into the new duck enclosure.
