The moth trap went out last night and a total of 64 moths of 34 species were caught. As per normal its going to take awhile to ID them all, but hopefully it won't take too long.

There were a few new ones for my Portland List such as Buff Arches, Codling Moth, Haworth's Pug, Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing, Bright-line Brown-eye, The Clay, Scalloped Oak, Mother of Pearl, Triple-spotted Pug, Common Footman, Orchard Ermine and Small Emerald.

I would just like to say a big thank you to the expert Lepidopterists on the Facebook Dorset Moths Group in helping me (and putting me straight) on several of the above moths which are first for me on Portland. Thank you.
