What a miserable day. It was raining when I woke up and and then we had drizzle for the rest of the day. I did manage to get out a couple of times, but unsurprisingly there was very little about.

Before I set foot outside the house a Brown House-moth Hofmannophila pseudospretella was in the conservatory.

Just the one bee seen today. A Common Carder Bee Bombus pascuorum on................

A Root-maggot fly Anthomyiidae sp.

This is one of the Ensign flies known as a Lesser Dung Fly Themira sp.
