Wakeham

Today was spent in the back garden, mowing and then reseeding the lawn, weeding and cutting back some of the dead wood on the Buddleias, plus a few other jobs that needed doing.

There's always coffee break break and at this time of year there's always something to find, like my first Palmate Newt of the year in the "Tractor Tyre" pond and a 22-spot Ladybird (Psyllobora 22-punctata) in the new wildflower patch.

I also had a new edition to my Port & Wey lists with a Short-palped Cranefly (Limonia nubeculosa)

A Chiffchaff was heard from one of the neighbouring gardens, but passed overhead without stopping
