After the torrential rain this morning, it actually turned out nice for the rest of the day. It was probably a bit wet underfoot for a walk, so I opted to have a day working in the back garden.
For those that have been following my garden exploits, it started off with bit of tidying up of the flowerbeds, but has now turned into a huge project, where I've grubbed out 4 Buddleia (with one to go) and cut back the Cherry Tree which was in danger of a huge branch snapping off.
Most of today was spent digging out Ivy roots which were spreading across the lawn and under the neighbours fence. It's amazing how quickly it spreads if unchecked.
In between the digging I had a few breaks with the following noted in and around the garden.
