Today was a day off from doing anything, other than chilling out in the garden in the sun. However that wasn't the case in the morning as Portland was fog-bound until early afternoon.
Main highlight was the increased number of bees recorded, especially Buff-tailed Bumblebees (Bombus terrestris) and Honey Bees (Apis mellifera). In years gone by, when the Lavender came into flower there would be dozens of Honey Bees on it. This year there have been very few until today, when there were a good 20+.
