After a few finishing touches to the caravan for our next set of guests, Ted and I had a walk around "The Rangers" field to the south-east of Lynch Cove here.
The weather was pretty miserable, but at least it wasn't raining. There were few highlights with the best of the bunch being a Curlew, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, 10+ Swallows, a Blackcap, 3 Chiffchaff and 2 Goldcrests.
Also noted were a single Speckled Wood and a very light and bright pristine looking Painted Lady. The latter just wouldn't settle, so no photos unfortunately.
