Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadow, The Windmills, Wakeham Railway Cuttings and Bumpers Lane

What I had planned was a good walk with Ted, unfortunately the weather had other ideas and no sooner had I left the cottage and that fine misty rain began to fall. Unfortunately by the time I had got to Bumpers Lane, it was very intense and that was the end of our walk.

There were a few highlights with the pair of Stonechats still present at The Windmills, and despite the falling rain I did manage to find a couple of Chiffchaffs.

Yet again there were a couple of Red Admirals flying about, and I came across singles of Honey Bee, Common Wasp and Common Dronefly on the Ivy.
