Chesil Cove

On the way back from Weymouth I dropped into Chesil Cove to see what the gale force south-westerly wind had brought in. Unfortunately not a lot.

Out to see the only birds noted were Black-headed Gulls, Mediterranean Gulls, Herring Gulls and Great Black-backed Gulls. Whilst roving up and down the beach were a couple of Carrion Crows and a Raven.

A Raven checking out the beach for a meal.

Out on the water were plenty of gulls, but sadly no Grey Phalaropes.

This was low water, it will be interesting to see.........

.......what its like when it hits Hight Tide.
