There was a real dip in the temperature today and with that brisk north-westerly it felt pretty raw. There was also a noticeable drop in the number of migrants, with just 2 Stonechat and 6 Chiffchaff, but at least there were a couple of Goldcrests about.
The only bees seen were a few Ivy Bees at The Cuttings, the only butterflies out on the wing were 4 Red Admirals and I only came across one hoverfly, a Marmalade Hoverfly along the Railway Cuttings.
