Wakeham Wood, Penns Wood and Bumpers Lane

It was so windy today and unsurprisingly there were no butterflies recorded again. However, and despite the wind, the sun was out and there were a lot of hoverflies on the Alexanders, especially in the grounds of St Andrew's Church.

There were a few bees about with Small Garden BumblebeeYellow-legged Mining-beeAshy Mining Bee and Early Mining Bee all recorded.

Very few birds seen, but I did manage 1 Willow Warbler in Penns Wood.

Here are a few images from today.
