Wakeham

It was a bit on the warm side today with the outdoor thermometer reaching 24.0°C in the shade. Consequently it was not a day to go walking with Ted, but a day spent in the back garden tidying up the borders etc.

Main highlight was an aerial display of around 20 Swifts screaming overhead.

Also noted was a male Azure Damselfly.

At one stage there were a good twenty or so Swifts high up above Wakeham.

A few did..........

............swoop down over the Cottage, before joining the main party above.

A male Azure Damselfly by the "Bath" Pond. Also here were.....

..............a few Semaphore Flies (Poecilobothrus nobilitatus). Here is.........

This is the Cessna F150L. Registration G-AZZR flying north over the garden again. Last time was a week ago here
