Old Quarry Lane, Wakeham Meadows and Wakeham Wildlife Site

Once the threat of a hefty shower had passed it was on with the walking boots and out for a walk on my local patch.

Highlights today were both the Song Thrush and Chiffchaff back singing again. Where do they both go when they aren't singing!!

Other highlights was a very very small butterfly which I can only presume to be a female Common Blue in miniature.

Not evident here, but this is the smallest female Common Blue I have ever seen. In fact it was that small it was smaller than a Small Blue.
