Today was a repeat of yesterdays glorious weather, and with it some new species to add to my Portland list of invertebrates. They were a Common Spiny Digger Wasp (Oxybelus uniglumis), a Black-horned Smoothtail (Epistrophe grossulariae) and a Yellow-winged Blacklet (Cheilosia impressa).
And the Chiffchaff was back!, but this time singing from Old Quarry Lane
