Braintree to Portland

After a few days painting and decorating my late parents house in Braintree, I headed back home this morning in torrential rain. Amazingly there was a Red Kite flying over Junction 20 (M25) in almost nil visibility.

Further south the rain eventually cleared and I had a further four Red Kites between the Fleet Services and Winchester Services on the M3.

As there wasn't much else to see, I have added a few highlights from this day on Portland over the past 6 years.

Spot the Grey Heron.

A few of the 30 or so Herring Gulls in one of the fields at the Fancy's Farm, with a couple of Jackdaws

A pair of Herring Gulls on Rufus Castle

A Peacock.

A Chiffchaff at Church Ope Cove.

A Wheatear in the Hut Fields
