Well today was a case of if you can't beat it then join it, as once again the drizzle began to fall. Unsurprisingly there wasn't much about on a damp miserable day and the best I could find were the four overwintering Chiffchaffs on and around the cove.
Birds Recorded:
1 Black-headed Gull
Herring Gull
Wood Pigeon
Dunnock
Robin
4 Chiffchaff
Long-tailed Tit
Great Tit
Blue Tit
Wren
Magpie
Carrion Crow
House Sparrow
Chaffinch
Goldfinch
Possibly the same Black-headed Gull as seen on 12 Feb 24, just off the beach at the cove again.
And two of the...........
................four Chiffchaffs still overwintering on and around the beach.
Other than the Chiffchaffs the only other bird seen on the beach was this Wren
Kelp Fly (Coelopa frigida)
