It was a third trip to Lodmoor this week, and this time a lot earlier than the previous two visits, where the light was pretty poor. With the reserve covered in ice, the 300+ Golden Plover elsewhere leaving a lone individual to hold the fort on the west scrape.

There were a lot of Brown Rats running about on the path and at very close quarters. Poor Ted didn't know which way to turn. Thank goodness we kept him on his lead.

A not so common Common Gull.
And alongside the path there were several Robins just waiting to be fed. And yep I forgot to pack the mealworms!!
