Portland Castle Beach and Portland Marina

Before a trip to the shops, me, Dawn, Izzie and Ted had a walk along the esplanade from Portland Castle Beach to Portland Marina.

Best highlight was a Black Redstart which flew over the beach wall at the castle. Unfortunately by the time I had got to wall it had vanished.

There were a good 20+ Red-breasted Mergansers way out from the beach, but surprisingly there were no Great Northern Divers to be seen!1
