Wakeham

Having done a little bit of bit pond cleaning yesterday, it was great to see that the Palmate Newts in the "Tractor Tyre" pond seemed to be quite pleased that they could see daylight once more.

The most Palmate Newts I have seen together is four, today there were three here and...

.....two more across the otherside of the pond. No doubt there were probably more.

Also in the pond was this Water Snail. There haven't been any in this pond before. So its either "migrated" here from the "Bath" pond or the eggs may have been transferred here by birds!

A male Semaphore Fly on a lily pad in the "Bath" pond.

Also here was a Honey Bee collecting water again.
