Yet again it was another very hot day and one where I spent most of the time indoors doing a bit of DIY. Early evening though, I ventured outside and did a fair bit of gardening in the relatively cooler conditions.

There were quite a few Marmalade Hoverflies (Episyrphus balteatus) out this evening.
