It was a quick walk around the block this afternoon to see what was about. The only highlights were 3 pairs of Greenfinch by the pools (1pr) and the reserve (2pr), a few Frogs croaking from the pools and a 7-Spot Ladybird on the Gorse in the reserve.
No migrant birds were seen or heard.

This is the fawn coloured Bunny I first saw in the Lower Horse Paddock on 20 Oct 19 Here.
This Bunny here is more the colouration you would expect.

One of the many House Sparrows on Portland. This male was in one of the small flocks of around 10 birds in the reserve.
Walking along the lane, around the pools and reserve and the one bird species which is quite vocal at the moment is the Greenfinch
This male Greenfinch and a female close-by were by the pools. Another two pairs were in the reserve.

The Gorse on the reserve was alive with Honey Bees

It wasn't just the Honey Bees on the Gorse but also these.............

I had hoped to find a Gorse Shieldbug on the reserve. Perhaps it was bit to cold for them, but not this 7-Spot Ladybird.
