Penns Wood, St Andrew's Church, Church Ope Cove, Church Ope Cove Wood, Penn's Weare, Penn's Copse, Rufus Castle and Bumpers Lane

It was definitely warmer today, especially as that easterly wind has now moved around to the south-east.

Main highlight was a Chiffchaff singing at the bottom of Penns Wood. Other highlights were my first Large White, 4 Small Whites and a Dock Bug for the year.

My first Dock Bug of the year.

And my first "green" Common Green Shieldbug of the year. All the previous ones this year were in the process of changing from their brown Winter colours to their green Summer colours.
