Another excellent days birding and nice weather for a change.
Some great highlights with a Yellow-browed Warbler in Penns Wood (presumably the same bird following the flock of Long-tailed Tits around Wakeham), 3 Firecrests along the Wakeham Railway Cutting with another in the grounds of St Andrew's Church, my first Brambling this Autumn with possibly 2 birds in Wakeham and then my first Autumn Short-eared Owl. The latter flying across Church Ope Cove and then up and over Penns Weare, heading north. The latter a nice sighting for the 2 bird watchers I was chatting to on the beach - John and Colin.

And the second Chiffchaff.
In the woods along with the 1/2 Bramblings were 3 Redwing. Her's one perched high up in a Sycamore.
There's always a Robin about.
At Church Ope Cove just the 1 Black Redstart here today.
As I was talking to John and Colin on the beach a Short-eared Owl flew by.
An enlargement of the above photo.
Out to sea a Gannet heading south down the island.
In the grounds of St Andrew's Church were a couple of Chiffchaffs feeding in the Sycamores.
