Wakeham

It was another scorcher of day and I spent all day rebuilding the chicken run, so sadly no photographs. Main highlights though were 3 Buzzards and a Peregrine Falcon overhead, with the former being chased and harassed by the local Herring Gulls. Around midday a pair Swallows spent 20 minutes or so feeding and "singing" over the horses field, whilst a few Meadow Pipits passed over them calling.

In the garden a few mining bees are starting to appear including a couple of Blue Mason Bees (Osmia caerulescens). Below is one I photographed in the back garden last year on 18 June.
