I don't understand the weather forecast!! It was forecast for heavy rain, gale force winds and the possibility of thunder during the morning and then easing off this afternoon.
If I had known it was going to be the other way round, Ted and I would have gone for a walk this morning without wondering whether we were going to get wet or not.
The only invertebrate the brave the elements that I saw was a Buff-tailed Bumblebee (Bombus terrestris), heading back to its nest I suspect as the rain began to fall.
