Below are a few photos from the garden today.

My favourite shot of the day. A hoverfly sat on the branch of my neighbours Buckthorn. Just a shame I don't know which hoverfly species it is.

And another hoverfly I can't identify.

An easy one. This is a Marmalade Hoverfly Episyrphus balteatus.
