A job I just couldn't do at the moment, was taken onboard by my neighbour and his partner. And that was to remove the two storm damaged 6ft panels and replace them with trellises. My job was to find the materials and tools to do the job, and then after it was in place, to weave the Jasmine and Honeysuckle through the trellis.
And of course I also had an eye out for any birds in and around the garden, one of which was the overwintering Chiffchaff.
Also about was what I can only assume to have been a Buff-tailed Bumblebee (Bombus terrestris), which I noted twice whilst we were working away.
