Southampton General Hospital

Well I'm still here and feeling a lot better, as each day passes. My antibiotics (which I now take orally) have been increased slightly, due mainly to the fact that I'm no longer having them induced by drip.

This change has also resulted in my taste buds almost getting back to normal. Having everything I ate tasting of salt was wearing a bit thin.

With low grey clouds this morning, it was difficult to spot any bird movement and the best I could do was Carrion Crow, Herring Gull, Jackdaw and Pied Wagtail.

Late morning and the sun finally broke through the clouds. And as it did so, so a Red Admiral and a presumed Buff-tailed Bumblebee were both seen outside the ward window soaking up the sun's rays.

In the dockyard two new ships arrived in the early hours of this morning. They were:

.........the Passenger Ship, Queen Victoria flying......

.....the flag of Bermuda. And.....

........the French.....

.......Container Ship CMA CGM Trocadero
