Southampton General Hospital

Well I survived the night with plenty of morphine and this morning when I woke up I actually didn't feel too bad.

And what a morning it was with wall to wall blue skies and sunshine.

A few birds were noted from the ward window with 2 Common Buzzards, Herring Gulls, a Pied Wagtail and a few Jackdaws and Carrion Crows.

A couple of aircraft were noted heading south including this:

Airbus A321 reg G-SUNG on........

........it's way from Birmingham to Gran Canaria. More on this aircraft here.

On this day 2020

Two birders, who I met in Penns Wood, had left their bag of chips on the bench to watch a flock of Long-tailed Tits passing through.

It wasn't until I had a look behind me that realised Ted had snuck past us all and was having a good munch. I was told that they had finished their chips, so no drama, but what a naughty boy.
