Old Quarry Lane and Wakeham Meadow

It was another walk down Old Quarry Lane today and then onto Wakeham Meadow. No real highlights as it was much the same as yesterday, though a Peregrine pursuing a feral pigeon was pretty spectacular. Not sure if it caught it, as they both disappeared behind the trees.

A Rustic Sailor Beetle which appears to have lost the tip of its antennae.

And another Rustic Sailor Beetle just about hanging on to this grass spike.

My first Swollen-thighed Beetle this year.


Caterpillars Recorded:
