On the way back home from a trip into Weymouth, I stopped off at Ferrybridge to see what was about. When I arrived it was low water and just turning, pushing a few waders up the the sandflats.
Main highlight was my first Sanderlings of the year in amongst a small mixed group of Ringed Plovers and Dunlin. Also about were 5 Bar-tailed Godwits, an Oystercatcher, one Sandwich Tern and a few Little Terns.

And three more Bar-tailed Godwits.
Ted:
The signs around the Sandflats are as clear as mud. And for a change, all the dogs I saw on the reserve today were on their leads, which was excellent. Unfortunately none of them were being walked around the edge by their owners. Dogs and humans really don't mix well with waders.
