A very late visit to both locations, so unsurprisingly no sighting of Yellow-browed warbler, but I did get a single Firecrest in the woods and the Black Redstart on the beach for the 10th day now.
Met up with a chap called Kris who informed me that both the "resident" Pied Wagtails and Grey Wagtail were still about and that earlier there were a good dozen or so Rock Pipits. The only Rock Pipit I saw was one that seems to have "paired" up with Black Redstart, most odd!!
Here are a couple of photos and Martin Cade's lovely shot of the Yellow-browed Warbler from earlier this afternoon..
A very distant shot of the Black Redstart
And in this one it appears there seems to be some bond between it and a Rock Pipit.
Finally, a decent view of the Pennsylvania Castle Yellow-browed Warbler - very mobile around the wood early afternoon pic.twitter.com/XWStABSPfh— Martin Cade (@PortlandBirdObs) December 18, 2017
