A quiet day at home. In the back garden the feeders were in constant use by both Great Tits and Blue Tits. Also about a large flock of Long-tailed Tits and 2 Blackbirds.
Down at the Bill today there were 3 Great Bustards, sadly not seen by me, but of real interest never-the-less, as these birds are ringed and would be from Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire. More on these birds Here
The 3 Great Bustards (ringed, released birds) are back on island again. They pitched onto the Bill Common a short while ago pic.twitter.com/cWROD1Nyap— Martin Cade (@PortlandBirdObs) December 16, 2017
