Wakeham
Well June went by with a flash and to start July off, a new species for me a Summer Chafer (Amphimallon solstitiale). Smaller than its cousin the Cock-chafer or May Bug as its often called, the Summer Chafer flies in June and July.

Also in the garden a Marbled White, Large White and a Meadow Brown. There was also a large blue coloured hawker dragonfly which flew into the garden, caught a hoverfly and then made its way into the quarry.

Also about a Mother-Shipton moth, a male Swollen-thighed Beetle (Oedemera nobilis) and lots of bees and hoverflies.
