Portland Harbour

The Black-throated Diver was sitting in the middle of the flow as the water was pouring out of The Fleet this afternoon. Also about several Oystercatchers and a single Little Egret.

Wakeham

What a miserable day with grey skies and heavy rain. The good thing is it hasn't put the birds off and the feeders this morning were busy with Great Tits, Chaffinches, House Sparrows, the lone Blue Tit, Robin, Song Thrush and female Blackcap.

Great Tit and Goldfinch

This female Blackcap has now been visiting the garden for 5 days now and is certainly enjoying the suet pellets.
