Wakeham
Still a lot of gardening being done, but Dawn and I are getting there. A couple of Buzzards passed overhead and were harassed all the way towards the Grove by the resident Herring Gulls. Lots of Swifts and Swallows still about, but only a few butterflies seen with just one of each of Large White, Meadow Brown and a Gatekeeper.

While cutting the lawn I came across this moth which turns out to be a Lichen Button, Acleris literana.

Also flying about were two Eurofighter Typhoons and then later a Short SC-7 Skyvan 3-100 aircraft over Portland this afternoon with a helicopter right behind it.

Helicopter!

After a bit of Googling it appears that back in 2014 this Skyvan was used for a Dutch record attempt for formation parachute jumping. Not sure of the outcome though.

Sadly not my footage but I found OE-FDP on YouTube flying into Eindhoven in 2014 (Courtesy MrSoeberg)
