It was another visit to the cove today, especially having heard that there was a Sabine's Gull present along with a Grey Phalarope. But yep you've guessed it, by the time Ted and I got there, both were nowhere to be seen. One day!!
The only additions to yesterday's visit were 2 Ravens, one of which was feeding on the carcass of yet another dead Gannet. At least I managed to see 3 live Gannets far out to sea.
And the weather was kind to me and Ted, with blue skies and no rain.

The adult Gannet washed up onto the beach yesterday is still here and....
..........has been joined by a second deceased individual.

1st Winter Herring Gulls.
Two adult Great Black-backed Gulls.
A Raven has sensed that there are dead birds on the beach and..............
............and soon finds one of the dead Gannets.
