Wakeham

It was a mega day in the back garden with lots of weeding, grubbing out a Budleia, mowing the lawn and many other jobs I have neglected over the past few weeks.

Breaks were good and an opportunity to see what wildlife was about. I even found my first Common Candy-striped Spider sensu stricto (Enoplognatha ovata sensu stricto) on Portland, with several on and around the Lavender.

This is a Common Candy-striped Spider sensu stricto (Enoplognatha ovata sensu stricto) and the form redimita with two red stripes along the abdomen. In fact........
