Wakeham Railway Cuttings, Penns Wood, St Andrew's Church, Church Ope Cove, Penns Weare, Penns Copse, Rufus Castle and Portland Museum.

Another very windy day and the only shelter was around Church Ope Cove, where there were 2 Firecrests at the back of the huts There was also a third bird in Penns Wood.

Here is a breakdown of what I found this morning:

Wakeham Railway Cuttings: 5 Long-tailed Tits

Penns Wood: 1 Goldcrest and 1 Firecrest

Church Ope Cove: 2 Rock Pipit, 2 Pied Wagtail and 1 Grey Wagtail

Church Ope Cove Wood: 2 Firecrest, 1 Goldcrest, a Chiffchaff and 12+ Long-tailed Tits

In the grounds of St Andrew's Church one of the 3 juvenile Wall Lizards out in the sun.

At the back of the cove a worn Red Admiral.

Birds Recorded: Herring Gull, Wood Pigeon, 2 Rock Pipit, 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Grey Wagtail, Dunnock, Robin, Blackbird, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Goldcrest, 3 Firecrest, 17+ Long-tailed Tit, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Wren, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Starling, House Sparrow, Chaffinch and Goldfinch

Reptiles Recorded: Wall Lizard (Podarcis muralis)

Butterflies Recorded: 1 Red Admiral

Wasps Recorded: German Wasp (Vespula germanica) and Common Wasp (Vespula vulgaris)

Flies Recorded: Kelp Fly (Coelopa frigida)
