Portland Harbour
Great fun out in the kayak this afternoon, on its maiden voyage in Portland Harbour and The Fleet. We managed around 2 ½ hours covering the south, west, middle sections of the harbour, before going under the Ferrybridge into the The Fleet before heading back towards Osprey marina. Our arms are going to ache tomorrow.

Lots of sea birds seen including Mediterranean Gulls, Little Egrets, several Dunlin and Ringed Plover. There were quite a few butterflies flying over the water with several Red Admirals and great views of a Clouded Yellow flying over the Fleet. Also seen here a dragonfly.

Two naval vessels and a Cruiser.
